Take Your Career to the Next Level
With the Director of Operations Certification
The next step for female project managers, human resource professionals, and operations managers who want to build a career (regardless of your past business or corporate experience) that leverages their gifts and brings them ease.
Dear checklist-loving, type-A, fact-finding, behind-the-scenes gal: there’s something you need to know.
Your skills are far more valuable than you realize.
But perhaps you haven’t been able to figure out how to leverage your love for streamlining, managing projects, leading a team, or tracking the numbers… at least not in a way that brings you the legacy life you are longing for.

- You’re amazing at keeping things running on the backend of a business, but you aren’t earning the income you’d like to be (probably because you’re not serving at your highest potential).
- You’ve got ideas and insights that you know will move a business forward, but you’re not sure how to move into that strategic partner role (and be appreciated for the brilliant woman you are).
- You’d rather create a spreadsheet or set up a project plan than create reels or record podcasts… but most of the advice about advancing your career seems to include doing the things you hate.
You’ve been looking for a way to combine your work experiences, your training and education, and your natural gifts and talents into a career path that works for you.
And you’re tired of feeling stuck, unappreciated, or confused about the way forward.
But most of what is recommended to grow a business in the online space doesn’t work for us operators.
I’ve got good news for you.
You don’t have to:

Build a large following by creating tons of content and showing up constantly on social media

Spend all your time implementing when you know you have the potential for much more

Create digital products and courses that require constant marketing and ever-changing ads
What if I told you that it is possible to create a career path that leverages your operations skills and leads to the legacy life you desire?
How do I know? Because I’ve done it myself, and I’ve helped hundreds of other women do the same.

After 15 long years of working in human resources and as a project manager at a Fortune 150 company, I FINALLY stopped and asked the big question… “Is this really the career path that will best serve my purpose, my people, and myself?”
And thus began my journey into entrepreneurship.
But when I entered the online space, I thought I had to do it ‘their way.’
I tried building a movement, but soon realized that was not where I could make the biggest impact.
So I went back to my operations roots and began serving visionaries, using my project management and strategic planning skills.
At first, I undervalued my skills and undercharged for the value I was providing.
I took on way too many clients and worked too many hours, trying to achieve both the income and the lifestyle I had dreamt of.
It took a lot of time, energy, and investment in myself… but finally I found a way to serve my clients at the highest level, be seen as a strategic partner in the business, and get paid the income my experience and skills were worth.
As I stepped into the Director of Operations role, I soon saw the demand for this key position in businesses all around me.

Through my journey, I’ve discovered 3 truths:
- Operations are the KEY to a business being able to grow.
- Visionaries need a trusted strategic partner with operations skills.
- Operators often struggle to show up as the experts we are, but once we do, watch out, world!
Bottom line?
The world needs YOU and your operations gifts.
And you deserve to get paid for the value you bring.

So how do you become an expert and get paid like one?
There are 3 keys to showing up like the expert and creating the career path you desire:
Confidence
Confidence in your natural operations skills and talents.
Competency
Competency in the 5 core areas of operations: Strategy, Project Management, Human Resources, Financials, and Data.
Community
Community of like-minded women who provide encouragement, support, and tough love when you need it.
I call this the Ops Authority Advantage, and with these 3 keys, you will have what it takes to move your career to the next level.
And I’ve got good news, friend.
X You don’t have to go out and hire a mindset coach to work on your confidence.
X It’s not necessary to spend thousands on a business education to learn about operations (though if you have one, major props to you).
X You don’t have to go searching for your biz besties who also understand the world of operations…
Because I’ve created a program that will give you all of this (and more).
You will find everything you need to take your career to the next level with the:

What Our Students Are Saying

Kalish Nesbitt
The Director of Operations Certification program has completely up-leveled my business. In my early days of entrepreneurship, I spent countless hours consuming YouTube content, DIYing everything in my startup, and at one point I became a website developer (in my mind, lol). I eventually felt the need to organize all of this knowledge and create a valued service-based business. The knowledge, support, and tried and true systems that I gained from this program have empowered me to relate to my clients on a deeper level as their strategic partner. I truly understand the array of emotions one can experience as a business owner and I help them stay encouraged and focused on their vision.

So, it’s about time I introduced myself, right?
I’m Natalie! I’m a former project manager and human resources leader turned Director of Operations mentor.
After spending 15 years in corporate at a Fortune 150 company, I dove headfirst into entrepreneurship… where I get to leverage my corporate experience and leadership skills in the online and small business worlds.
When I transitioned from corporate to entrepreneurship, I managed dozens of 6 and 7-figure businesses. I kept them running smoothly, so the CEO’s could focus on being visionaries – building relationships, being the sales engine, and creating content. I did this by leveraging my experience while tailoring it to the online space. As a result, we scaled their businesses with my proprietary Strategic Mapping ModelTM, building organizational structures, and establishing systems. Before long, capacity set in and I was determined to serve in a greater capacity.
I’m definitely a change-the-world kind of gal.
It was time to duplicate my success and establish a respected profession for my peers. The Ops Authority is the leading educational company for driven female professionals who desire to serve the growing online entrepreneurial economy in a supportive, strategic executive role.
Our mission is to equip female operations experts with the skills they need to leverage their leadership abilities on a bigger stage, take charge in their own businesses, and create the lives they truly want.
I’m also a candid, sports-loving, working mama who takes no excuses and will push you to be your best self every single day… and then give the biggest high fives for every win!

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this program different than an OBM certification?
To begin, I’ve never gone through the OBM certification but I’ve been in the online space for nearly 5 years. I’ve worked with OBMs, managed them, and hired them. As with all service provider positions, there is a large variance between one person to another, everyone delivers differently. And I’ve seen the difference between certified OBMs and non-certified OBMs. My understanding is that the OBM profession is built as a progression from the Virtual Assistant role, which is primarily execution-based. The Director of Operations certification is based on experience that is not exclusive to the VA space, but rather looks at leadership, experience in operational fields, and project management rigor.
The DOO role is a strategic partner in a leadership position of a successful and scaling business. In this role, you integrate over implement. You lead and build teams. You design strategies and new products and services. You implement systems and processes. Ultimately, you are a project manager, the right hand for the CEO, and do these with your innate leadership skills.
If you’re trying to determine which training would be best, I would look at the curriculum and who you enjoy learning from. Both are great programs! Also look at the outcomes from those that have been through the different certifications and evaluate which matches your goals most closely. I’m clearly fond of the successes of the certified DOOs and the emerging profession we’re cultivating. It’s unique and I’d love you to be a part of it.
Here’s the syllabus for the certification. bit.ly/DOOsyllabus
If I’m already an OBM, is this program for me?
Unlike an OBM, DOO’s utilize the expertise of the business owner or marketing director to guide the strategy. The DOO position is an executive-level role that can be a progression from the OBM role. This certification will allow an OBM to level up your client base so you can move toward a business model with fewer clients and more profit. You will also learn new frameworks that can be monetized immediately.
How much time do I need to commit to this program on a weekly basis?
I advise all students to plan to dedicate 2 hours per week to consume and implement the weekly content and curriculum and attend our weekly sessions.
Does this program teach how to start an Operations business?
This program is not designed for a novice operations skillset. It is for established operators. Some will have existing businesses and others will be taking the leap from corporate to entrepreneurship. Ultimately, this is for those who are established operators, leaders, and ready to take their skills to the next level.
As a bonus, you’ll receive a 12-step course called the DOO Business Bootcamp that is dedicated to turning your operational skills into a business. It covers marketing, visibility, offers, customer experience, and more. You will leave the certification program with a functional business that serves your lifestyle rather than having your services dictate your lifestyle.
Do you have a program syllabus I can see?
Yes – you can download the syllabus to review course topics and schedule here.
What’s the difference between a certification and a course?
A course does not have any criteria to join and complete, and it is also usually self-paced. A certification has a beginning and end date, and there is also criteria to join or complete the program.
Can I buy this program for a team member?
Absolutely! It’s so important for business owners to support their team members, especially if they love your business as much as you do. Just make sure they’re ready for the leap too!
What’s the investment for the program?
The current cost of the program is $7,500. There are also 2 payment plans available: 3 payments of $2,500 OR 6 payments of $1,250.
Do you have a cheaper DIY version instead?
The massive value in this program exists in the customized mentoring for you and your business. While the content is uniform for all members, the way you utilize it and implement it into your life and business is highly personalized. There is no way to effectively DIY that portion of the program.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
This is a highly-vetted program and my team and I will not enroll a member that is not a perfect fit. To that end, there is no money-back or refund in place as it is highly unnecessary considering the program parameters for entry.
What are the certification requirements?
There are three requirements that we will track as you’re navigating the certification experience. To graduate our program, we require:
- 90% of the course content is viewed.
- 70% of live calls are attended, live or recorded.
- 50% of case studies submitted.
